FEI POSITIVES
Stride wishes to provide assurance to competitive performance horse owners that when any of the Stride products are utilised according to recommendations, no horses will test positive.
However we need to forewarn customers who use Rigly Horse Liniment that the product contains a precursor of aspirin and customers who use Hemoboost Liquid that the product contains cobalt. Both these ingredients can result in levels above the accepted threshold level of the FEI and local testing authorities and therefore we advise that they should not be used within 5 days of competition, the competition days themselves and 5 days post completion.
Rigly Body Builder does contain Gamma Oryzonal, which used to be on the FEI banned substances list but has since been removed. Therefore, it is not recommended for competition horses and even though it’s not on the FEI 2025 list we would caution when using in any competition horses.
Secure Horse Flash
Secure Horse Flash is an equine appeasing pheromone 1% gel that has been clinically proven to reduce stress in horses facing new and challenging environments. Pheromones are chemical signals exchanged between members of the same animal species. They are a form of communication that trigger various behaviors, such as alarm, reproduction, territory marking and mother-baby bonding. They are not odors or hormones, so they do not affect cell function.
Mares release an equine appeasing pheromone (EAP) towards their nursing foal. Secure Horse Flash replicates this pheromone, offering the same behavioral benefits in horses of all ages
